Guitarist Tom Rose has performed in over twenty countries around the world. The Montreux Jazz Festival, Glastonbury Music and Arts Festival, New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Fest, San Fransisco Blues Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, Thailand International Jazz Fest and Australia's East Coast Blues Festival are just a few of the events he has played.      He has performed and recorded with such artists as Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Bo Diddley, Steve Cropper, Buddy Guy, Matt "Guitar" Murphy, Ike Turner and Joe Louis Walker. He has toured on the same bill with such international stars as B.B. King, Huey Lewis and the News, Johnny Winter, John Mayall, George Thorogood and Robert Cray.

Tom Rose has recorded for BBC One Radio London, ZDF German Television, Radio France, PolyGram/Verve Records, The House Of Blues Radio Network, House Of Blues Records, CBC Radio Canada and the Smithsonian Institution.     His song "I'm Not Messin' Around" was featured on The Preacher and the President by Joe Louis Walker.     Tom Rose and the Thorns' debut Cd, Holding Down The Shack, is due out in the summer of 2001.
